Our Respect programme aims to honour and support former athletes and sports persons of India who are either unemployed or have been employed at very low pay scales and assist them by providing training and employment in suitable areas. We aim to identify ex-sports stars and athletes who have made India proud at national and international platforms and have now gone into oblivion with no financial or work related support.

Eligibility:

• Should be of age 18 and below 50 years of age
• Minimum State level players to be eligible
• Indian nationals only
KOOH Sports aims to:
SKILL TRAINING
Provide vocational skill training to the ex-sports stars and make them eligible for employment
TRAIN SPORTS COACHES
Deliver sports education and/or specialised coaching in schools/academies at the grass-root level/as a mentor to the sports staff

Get employment in an applied field of sports as per their abilities and experience

The Athlete & Sports Person Adoption programme is dedicated to train and support those who suffer the financial strain and is difficult for them to pay the expenses associated with playing competitive sports. Sapna Punia, first Indian woman from Rajasthan to qualify for 2016 Olympics.

KOOH Sports Pvt. Ltd. is glad to have Sapna Punia, an Olympic level athlete, on board as part of our "Sports Persons & Athlete Adoption Program." Sapna is the first Indian woman from Rajasthan to qualify for 2016 Olympics in the 20km walking race. Sapna is a Sub-Inspector, Jaipur Police and has a World Record to her name which she achieved while participating in the World Police Championship in The United States of America.
A mother of one, she is determined to bring laurels to the country and is of the opinion that motherhood has made her more stronger as an individual and an athlete.
Gurinder Vir Singh, among the top 10 of Speedstar Season-2

KOOH Sports Pvt. Ltd. welcomes on board Gurindervir Singh as part of our "Sports Persons & Athlete Adoption Program." Gurindervir was selected among the top 10 of Speedstar Season-2 from among 25,000 athletes and was part of the contingent which traveled to Australia to train under world-renowned coach Sharon Hannan, the Australian athletic team coach at the London Olympics.
He is a gold medalist in the CBSE National Athletic Meet, Punjab State Open Games (U-14) and the All India Athletic Federation of India Championship and has a best timing of 100m till now of 10.77sec and best timing of 200m till now of 21.90se
Ragenee Jha, a young and promising ‪Basketball player from‪ Bhilai, ‪Chattisgarh

She comes from a very humble background and has seen tough times but none of that has stopped her from achieving great heights in this sport. Our Basketball Technical Director - ‪ShibaMaggon, saw the potential in Ragenee and has pledged to help her in developing her skills! ‪KOOHSports will help Ragenee with equipments, gears, monetary assistance, access to our technical experts, nutrition guidelines and show her the pathway to go ahead in her career.

Sports’ Volunteering is a fantastic way to gain experience and learn new skills to support your academic learning. Through the Sports Volunteer programme, we offer sports coaching projects in India at urban, rural and community level and also teach the coaches to experience life inside our corporate office. This project offers you the chance to improve your skills and pass on your passion for sport to kids.

You will coach sports to children from all types of backgrounds, who play sports in their local communities and return home. We hope to make these things memorable through such volunteer programmes.

This is an excellent opportunity to impart your country’s values and principles to these kids and also help them learn in a multi-cultural/multi lingual environment thereby broadening their overall learning experience.

Internship India

KOOH Sports Internship programme is open for students and graduates from all educational backgrounds including Exercise Science, Sport Science, Public Health, Health Sciences, Sports Management, Sports Marketing, Advertising, IT, Business, Education and Entrepreneurship. All other backgrounds of study looking to gain experience in sports, you are eligible to apply too, since applications are processed on a case-by-case basis.
This will allow graduates to complete necessary work placement hours and gain valuable work experience; thus bridging the gap between education and employment.

Flexible Internship Options will be available ranging from 1 month to 6 months in duration. For students currently enrolled in full time study,

Each Intern will be paired with a mentor i.e. an experienced professional at KOOH Sports and have an opportunity to gain real life work experience and guidance. The mentor will assist the intern in creating a set of learning objectives, and motivate the intern to achieve the same. The intern will be required to complete certain tasks and practical assessments during their time at KOOH Sports

The KOOH Sports "Young Ambassador programme" will help talented kids gain recognition for the achievements in a systematic manner. KOOH Sports endeavours to provide the following to the selected kids:

Navmi Sharma, ranked No.1 in the U-15 age category in the country.
She has represented India in many National as well as International level competitions; Indian Subjunior/Junior, Hamdard Delton junior squash championship, Junior Open Squash Championship, Pioneer Open Junior Squash at Cologne, Germany, Dutch Open Junior Squash, Amsterdam, Asian Junior Individual Championships, Tehran, Iran to name a few.
Prior to her departure to England for the British Open, she met with our Technical Director and ex-Indian Cricket team physiotherapist John Gloster who gave her tips on health and fitness.
Pruthviraj Dilip Ayachi, is a 17 year old rifle shooter from Kutch, Gujarat. He started his shooting career at the age of 13 and within 15 days he shot a state record score and won Gold in the State Championship where he is now breaking his own score and consistently winning Gold medals.

He won Gold at the All India Shooting Championship in the senior category at the age of 13 despite being a junior. At the 60th National Shooting Championship, he shot 209.5 in the 50m prone final and set a national record which was also equal to the score of the gold medalist at the 2016 Rio Olympics and also scored 589/600 in Big Bore 300m which set the national record in the junior category.
Manav Thakkar, is a 17 year old table tennis player from Surat, Gujarat who is currently ranked 1st in India in the junior and U21 categories and 4th in the men’s category. He won Gold at the 2016 India Junior & Cadet Open in both Singles & Doubles and Silver at the 2017 Thailand Junior & Cadet Open Singles.

He has won more than 60 medals at National and International level so far in his young career and has already participated in an ITTF World Tour tournament (Bulgaria Open) at the tender age of 16. He is currently ranked 6th in the world in the junior category and 318th in the men’s category.
